Afrobeats superstar Davido has opened up about how his friendship with fellow singer Zlatan began, revealing that the rapper played a key role during the rise of street music in Nigeria.
According to him, one of the first things that caught his attention was Zlatan's music.
“I was in Angola when street music got big in Nigeria. I danced to Zlatan’s song, and got my first 1M-views on Instagram. When I got back to Nigeria, we became close and started making music together. He’s my real brother,” Davido said.
The award-winning singer added that their relationship has grown beyond music, describing Zlatan as a genuine brother and one of the people he shares a strong bond with in the industry.
